Precious Woods generated in the first half of 2022 net sales of EUR 31.3 million. This was 15.2 % above the previous year’s net sales of EUR 27.2 million. On a consolidated basis, Precious Woods Gabon achieved sales of EUR 18.5 million, 3.6 % higher than in the same period of the previous year (EUR 17.8 million). Sales in Brazil were 19.5 % higher and reached EUR 8.8 million (previous year: 7.4 million). Sales from the trade of European logs and sawn timber doubled to EUR 4.0 million (previous year: EUR 2.0 million). The energy production of Carbon & Energy resulted in sales of EUR 1.7 million (previous year: EUR 0.3 million).

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 5.1 million (previous year: EUR 5.5 million), corresponding to a margin of 16.1 %. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) reached EUR 2.8 million (previous year: EUR 3.5 million), with a margin of 9.1 %.
