Precious Woods generated in the first half of 2024 net sales of EUR 26.3 million. This was 20.0 % below the previous year’s net sales of EUR 32.9 million. On a consolidated basis, Precious Woods Gabon achieved sales of EUR 19.2 million, 0.7 % lower than in the same period of the previous year (EUR 19.3 million). Sales in Brazil were 39 % lower and reached EUR 5.1 million (previous year: 8.4 million). Sales from the trade of European logs and sawn timber decreased to EUR 1.9 million (previous year: EUR 4.5 million). The energy production of Carbon & Energy resulted in sales of EUR 0.2 million (previous year: EUR 1.5 million).
