Precious Woods generated in the first half of 2019 net sales of EUR 22.7 million. This was 0.6 % below the previous year’s net sales of EUR 22.8 million. The exchange rate effect was 0.1 %. On a consolidated basis, Precious Woods Gabon achieved sales of EUR 13.8 million, 12.1 % lower than in the same period of the previous year (EUR 15.7 million). Sales in Brazil rose by 28.7 % to EUR 6.3 million (previous year: 4.9 million). Sales from the trade of logs and sawn timber from Europe rose by 12.7 % to EUR 2.7 million (previous year: EUR 2.4 million).

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 3.1 million (previous year: EUR 3.9 million), corresponding to a margin of 13.6 %. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached EUR 1.3 million (previous year: EUR 1.8 million), with a margin of 5.9 %.
